About the Journal
Sofist: An International Journal of Philosophy is a peer-reviewed, international academic journal dedicated to publishing original research in all areas of philosophy. The journal has been in publication since 2020 and is published biannually in April and October, both in print and online.
Sofist is an independent academic journal managed by its editorial board. All editorial and publication processes are conducted under the responsibility of the editors.
The journal aims to provide a platform for rigorous and original contributions that engage with contemporary philosophical debates as well as historically grounded analyses. It welcomes work from all major philosophical traditions, including but not limited to analytic philosophy, continental philosophy, philosophy of science, logic, epistemology, ethics, political philosophy, and the history of philosophy.
Sofist publishes Research Articles, Review Articles, Translations, Book Reviews, and Discussion Papers. Submissions are accepted in both Turkish and English.
Sofist adopts a double-blind peer review process. All submissions are evaluated by at least two independent reviewers. The editorial board makes the final decision based on reviewer reports.

The journal participates in the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS archiving programmes to ensure long-term digital preservation of all published content.
