An Evaluation on the Spirituality of Death in Hegel

This study aims to explain the relationship between desire and death, which is very important in postmodern philosophy, psychology and sociology, and to show that truth in Hegel actually becomes possible through the consciousness of death or conscious death. As is known, Hegel is a philosopher of becoming and becoming corresponds to concepts such as movement, dynamism and change. From this point of view, he argued that the truth, which has been discussed in the entire history of philosophy, cannot be possible in an unchanging, transcendent and completely separate from nature, such as the universe of ideas and the noumenon. Therefore it can be understood not from immortality but from death. For Hegel argues that the immortal can only be understood in the mortal, and death can only be understood in terms of life [...]
