People’s ways of thinking and the methods of accessing knowledge have been on the agenda of mankind since ancient times. One of the most important discussion topics of this agenda is due to the differences in perspective on the use of knowledge. The social order, economic and political structures in which people are brought up or in which they live form the basis of the differences in perspective. The ancient Greek world, in which philosophical discussions were carried out systematically in the history of thought, and which deeply influenced today’s discussions with its administrative system, which is not encountered elsewhere in the ancient world, is considered as the starting point of the discussions on knowledge, the use of knowledge and wisdom. In the ancient Greek world, the Athenian polis occupied the most important place. The direct democracy political regime that emerged in the Athenian polis, and the changing economic and social structure in historical conditions, revealed new and different views in philosophical discussions, as well as allowing practices different from traditional methods to enter the polis life [...]
